Support Zombie Plague #1!

My friend Brian Roe is publishing a comic book based on a board game he created a decade ago.  Yeah, seriously - a board game!  That's so cool!

I'm not always the biggest fan of Zombie comics, but a single paragraph in Brian's description of the book immediately sold me: "As zombie stories became more ubiquitous in comics, I noticed that many of them seemed to focus wholly on the Romero formula of people caught in dire circumstances that eventually turn on each other. I wondered what would happen if a group of survivors stayed loyal to each other and how they could use this loyalty to survive."

Brian and crew are currently looking to fund this project using Kickstarter, an online pledge support system where people help finance a number of creative endeavours, such as indie films, music, and in this case, a comic book.  Supporters are rewarded with some great limited edition extras, depending on the level of monetary support they pledge.

In this case, you can have the series artist, Phibbz Abando, draw your Zombified likeness in the book!

So join me in supporting this fun project!  Visit the Zombie Plague #1 Kickstarter page now!  Every dollar helps!

And if I can't convince you, perhaps you'll listen to Santo...

And if Santo can't convince you, maybe you just need to see some of Phibbz Abando's artwork for the series!
